The app includes features to view and pay bills, manage settings and profile information, and access tools to help manage usage.
Do I need a TXU Energy MyAccount to use the TXU Energy app?
Yes, you will need your TXU Energy MyAccount user name and password to use the app. If you do not have a TXU Energy MyAccount, please go to txu.com to create your MyAccount, or click on the Register Your Account button provided for your convenience on the app.
Is there a cost for the TXU Energy app?
No, the app is free for TXU Energy residential customers.
Please note that carrier rates for phone, data, and text messaging may apply. Check with your wireless provider for details on specific fees and charges that may apply.
What services will the TXU Energy app provide?
Residential customers can use the app to access and manage their TXU Energy account from their mobile Apple® device or AndroidTM smartphone. The app includes features to view and pay bills, manage settings and profile information, and access tools to help manage usage.
Any changes or transactions made from a smartphone through the app will be reflected immediately on your TXU Energy account.
Where is the TXU iThermostat module located on the app?
The TXU iThermostat module is located under the “Usage” menu on the TXU Energy mobile app. Existing TXU Energy mobile app customers who have an active iThermostat account will receive access to the module when they upgrade to the latest version of the app.

I have a TXU Energy FlexPowerSM account. Can I use the TXU Energy app?
In the future, TXU Energy may expand the app to TXU Energy FlexPowerSM accounts. In the meantime, you can access your TXU Energy FlexPowerSM account on txu.com.
I have multiple accounts. How do I access each account on the TXU Energy app?
Residential customers who have multiple accounts under the same MyAccount login can access those accounts by swiping left and right throughout the app. Features that are accessible at the account level will be noted by white dots that represent the number of accounts available.
I am interested in knowing more about my energy consumption and how to reduce my bill.
The Bill Comparison tool, located under the Bill menu, provides customers with the ability to review and compare monthly bills and usage.
The Cost & Usage Summary, located under the Usage menu, provides projected usage and bill information. (Note: This tool is available to smart meter customers only.)
