If you need assistance paying your bill by the due date or are ill and unable to pay your bill, a TXU Energy customer care representative may be able to help you by establishing a deferred payment plan or possibly securing payment assistance from state and federal energy assistance programs.
Qualifying low-income customers are eligible to pay deposits over two equal installments. Customers are eligible to have their deposit waived if they are 60 years of age or older, or if they are a victim of family violence as certified by a prescribed letter, or if they are medically indigent and submit the necessary proof.
