Ways to Save
Tips and tools to help you save all season long

On a hot day, A/Cs can use up to 10 times as much electricity as all the lights in your home.1
- Raising your thermostat 2° can help reduce your usage by up to 10%. Try turning it up when you leave home to save even more.2
- Rotate your ceiling fans counterclockwise to circulate cool air around the room.
- Try a programmable or smart thermostat and set it to automatically raise when you’re asleep or away, so your A/C uses less energy when you don't need it.
Small changes around the house can make a big difference. Here are a few more ways you can save energy at home.
- Cleaning or replacing air filters can save you up to 15% on annual energy costs, especially if you have pets.3
