To get approved quickly, have your Texas Workforce Commission documents and a recent electricity bill ready.

What information will I need to provide after I apply?

You’ll need to send a copy of your acceptance from the Texas Workforce Commission and a copy of your electricity bill within 30 days of applying. You can send this via email or mail.

Do I need to call TXU Energy after I apply?

Please call us before your next payment is due so we can work with you on a longer-term payment plan. You do not need to call us to let us know you enrolled. The Texas Lifeline will notify us of your enrollment.

What if I move?

You'll need to re-enroll in the program by taking the same steps.
