Texas Rent Relief

A new State of Texas program is accepting applications beginning on Feb. 15 to help renters and landlords affected by the pandemic to pay their rent and electricity bills, including past-due bills and up to three months of future expenses. To learn more and apply, visit texasrentrelief.com or call 833-989-7368 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. If you have a past-due electricity bill, it may help to have it handy when you apply. And it's recommended you apply by Feb. 28 for priority review.

Payment Flexibility

Please call us at 800-242-9113 if you need more time to pay. We can work with you on a deferred payment plan. With a one-time down payment, you can spread your remaining balance over the next five months. As always, you can check your account and pay your bill anytime in MyAccount.

Payment Assistance

If you or someone you know may need bill payment assistance, additional support is available through TXU Energy Aid℠. Even if you don't need help now but think you might later this summer, it's a good idea to go ahead and apply while funding is available. Call 2-1-1 or visit 211texas.org and search Electricity Bill Assistance to find programs in your area.
