1. Create your online account

The easiest way to keep track of your electricity service is through MyAccount, which has your plan and bill information, up-to-date usage, energy-saving tools and more. You can see your monthly, weekly and even daily energy usage and how and when your home uses electricity. Plus, you can set custom budget alerts to get notified anytime your usage creeps up, so you can make quick adjustments to save.

2. Download the TXU Energy mobile app

For life on the go, download the TXU Energy mobile app to access your account, check your usage and pay your bill from anywhere. Curious to see how your energy usage changes from month to month, year to year? Our app can help you see your energy usage trends over time, and it even tracks outside temperatures so you can see how the weather impacts how much you use. 


3. Set your billing preferences

For easy and seamless billing, sign in to MyAccount to set up paperless billing and AutoPay. Or if you prefer to pay by phone, by mail or in person, here's how. Have questions about your bill? Check out our guide to understanding the charges on your bill. 

4. Use less, save more

Our plans are built to make your life easy – from chores to entertaining to working from home. And while your plan helps you save, you can save on energy with these tips:

  • Adjust your thermostat about 4 degrees to use up to 20% less energy in the summer, and up to 15% in the winter.i
  • Run your fans counterclockwise in the summer to keep cool air circulating, and clockwise in the winter to distribute heat.
  • Set a reminder to clean or replace your filter every 3 months.
