Texas electricity company gives customers one-stop option to shop for, select and start multiple home services
Summertime is often considered the household moving season, but almost 2 out of 5 recent moves around Texas actually happened between September 2011 and January 2012. September 2012 was also a busy month for moving, according to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas.
To help movers whenever they are packing up, TXU Energy has launched a free service for its new and loyal customers who are juggling all the big and little details of moving.
With TXU Energy Complete ConnectSM, customers who call to start or transfer electricity service related to a move will have the option of speaking with a home services expert at Allconnect, a TXU Energy partner that specializes in helping consumers select and connect essential home services, such as pay television, Internet, phone and home security services. Now, with one call to TXU Energy, customers can start all of the services needed at their new homes.
Allconnect reviews service plans and promotions available at each customer’s address, provides recommendations based on each customer’s needs and preferences, and helps arrange service orders and installation appointments. Through the Allconnect partnership, TXU Energy Complete Connect provides the convenience of one confirmation number and a single point of contact for orders for those other home services. Customers will continue to have a separate confirmation number and a dedicated phone number for their TXU Energy needs.
“We are excited to be working with TXU Energy to save its customers time and money on their home services,” said Sean Barry, Allconnect’s president of utility services. “Having studied our proven track record, award-winning technology and advanced employee training, TXU Energy knows we can be trusted to provide an outstanding experience for its customers.”
“Our partnership with Allconnect gives TXU Energy customers a free and convenient way to make moving easier,” said Michael Grasso, TXU Energy chief marketing officer. “It’s a great addition to our other free tools that help customers easily monitor and control their energy usage and spending from anywhere they have an Internet or smartphone connection.”
The Complete Connect process starts with customers learning about and selecting the TXU Energy plan and conservation tools that best meet their needs. From TXU Energy Free Nights plans to the Brighten® iThermostat, TXU Energy offers a wide range of solutions to meet the needs and lifestyles of any household.
Whether it’s down the road or across the country, preparing to move and then getting settled in a new home can be overwhelming. With TXU Energy Complete Connect, selecting and scheduling home services can now be done with one easy call.
