AutoPay Draft Authorization Application
To sign up for AutoPay, our recurring payment program, and have your payments drafted automatically from your checking account, log in to TXU Energy MyAccount and click on Bill & Payments, Online Payments. If you have a balance due you must make a one-time payment prior to enrolling.  Don't have TXU Energy MyAccount access yet?  Create an Online Account

Not ready to sign up online and leverage all the benefits of MyAccount?  Print, complete and sign the AutoPay Bank Draft Authorization Form.  Be sure to attach a voided check for the account you wish to automatically debit. The check must contain your pre-printed address and account information; otherwise, we will be unable to process your request. Please continue to make one-time payments until your invoice reflects that your account will be drafted.  Please allow additional time for mailing and handling should you choose to mail in the completed form rather than sign up online.  

Critical Care Application
The Residential Critical Care Program is available to qualified critical care customers.  The Residential Critical Care Eligibility Determination Form must be completed and returned to your transmission and distribution utility (TDU) before your application for critical care status can be processed. 

Please follow the instructions for submission as described on the form. The completed form must be either faxed or emailed by your physician directly to your transmission and distribution utility (TDU) as described by the instructions on the form. The request cannot be processed unless each line of the form is completed by you and the physician. A separate letter from the physician will not be accepted. This program does not waive responsibility for payment of your account.   Click here to download the form.

New Occupant Statement
If the Transmission and Distribution Utility has determined meter tampering has occurred at a premise/address, they will place a Switch Hold on that premise/address which prohibits the current customer from switching to a new retail electric provider.  If you are applying for new service at a premise/address with a Switch Hold and you are not associated with the current customer at that premise/address, you will be required to complete and return to TXU Energy a New Occupant Statement along with one of the following:


  • Copy of signed lease
  • Affidavit of landlord
  • Closing documents
  • Certificate of occupancy or
  • Utility bill, in the customer's name, dated within the last two months from a different premise/address

TXU Energy will forward this information to the Transmission and Distribution Utility and request that they remove the Switch Hold so that your Move-In request can be processed.
