  • Why can't I log into TXU Energy MyAccount?

    There are a couple of possible reasons you may experience trouble signing in, including:

    A case sensitive password: If your keyboard settings are correct, maybe your password uses a combination of UPPER and lower case characters. You can reset your password easily using the Forgot Password link in the MyAccount Sign-In module.

    Scheduled maintenance: While infrequent, we sometimes have to perform required maintenance on the TXU Energy MyAccount site -- just like other websites do. As a result, you may occasionally experience problems signing in. But to keep you informed, we'll place a message on our website letting you know the date and time of any planned maintenance.

    If neither of these suggestions helps you sign in, you can reach us by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 800-818-6132. We'll be happy to help you.

  • Why are you asking for the last four digits of my social security number to create an online account or reset my password?
    We understand your concerns about protecting your personal information online, we share them, too. that's why we take steps to make sure your TXU Energy MyAccount remains secure. We need to validate that your security information matches what you provided when you signed up for service with TXU Energy. We also take steps like using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and Private Communication technology security standards that are supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later and Firefox 3.0 or later. SSL encodes your personal information at 128-bit encryption, so information can't be read while traveling over the Internet.
  • I'm having trouble accessing my online account and need to pay my bill. What should I do?
    Forgot your MyAccount user name or password? Just click the Forgot User Name or Forgot Password links by the MyAccount Sign-In module and follow the prompts to access your MyAccount and make a payment.

  • I have a residential account and a business account. Why can't I access both accounts when I log in?
    Your login information is separate for your residential account and your business account. We've designed separate online experiences for our residential and business customers since they have unique needs, and at this time we're not able to combine residential accounts with business accounts. If you still need to gain online access to one of your accounts, click here and enter that account number to set up your TXU Energy MyAccount.
  • Can I combine my accounts?
    For your convenience you can combine multiple residential accounts, or you can combine multiple business accounts by requesting an account restructure. We?ve designed separate online experiences for our residential and business customers since they have unique needs, and at this time we?re not able to combine residential accounts with business accounts. To make a request for an account restructure, simply call us at 800-818-6132 to speak with a Customer Care Representative. Please allow five business days for the changes to take effect.
  • How can I delete my online account?
    If you would like to delete your online account, you can call us at 877-472-2898.  Deleting your online account will not cancel your electricity service with TXU Energy.
