TXU Energy has added more than 300 new locations to its large existing network of authorized payment locations throughout Texas.

TXU Energy customers can now pay their electricity bills at popular retail stores like Kroger and Super S. Customers looking for the nearest payment locations can simply visit txu.com/paymentlocator, type in their zip code, and find over 3,000 locations to choose from.

“Our customers spoke and we listened. Our focus with this initiative is to make the bill payment process easier for our customers,” said Dave Hennekes, vice president of residential markets for TXU Energy. “With hundreds of added payment locations throughout Texas, our customers now have more bill payment location options.”

By using an authorized payment vendor, customers who want to pay their bill in person can expect real-time payment posting to their account. With popular retail stores like Kroger and Super S, paying the electricity bill is now more convenient.

“Our new payment locations will give our customers the flexibility and convenience they need when paying their bill,” added Hennekes. “This is about providing our customers more convenient ways to interact with us. Our new payment locations accomplish that.”
