TXU Enery Refer-a-FriendSM


The TXU Energy Refer-a-FriendSM program is currently undergoing an upgrade and will be unavailable for approximately 9 to 12 weeks. TXU Energy customers will be notified as soon as the program has been reinstated.

This upgrade is part of our effort to provide a best-in-class experience for our valued customers. The TXU Energy Refer-a-Friend program is temporarily interrupted so that we may complete the technical functions required to bring you the exceptional quality and convenience you've come to expect from TXU Energy.

Though no new activity may be generated through TXU Energy Refer-a-Friend, we look forward to introducing the improved, streamlined program to you in a few weeks. Thank you for your patience and continued support.

Q&A

When will the improved program be back?
We anticipate that the program will be back online on or about March 19, 2009.

I am already a member of TXU Energy Refer-a-Friend. Will I need to re-enroll?
No, your membership will carry over to the new program.

I am currently a member of TXU Energy Refer-a-Friend and I have referred others. Will I still get my referral bonus?
If you have referred someone who has become a TXU Energy customer through the program and in accordance with program Terms and Conditions, both you and your referral will receive any and all credits due to you.

I am currently a member of TXU Energy Refer-a-Friend and I have people I'd like to refer. Can I still refer them to TXU Energy?
You can always refer others to TXU Energy, but you will not be able to do so through the TXU Energy Refer-a-Friend program and you will not be eligible to receive referral credits.

I am not currently a member of TXU Energy Refer-a-Friend, but I'd like to be rewarded when I make referrals.  Can I join the program now?
Unfortunately, no new memberships are being accepted until the upgrade has been completed. You may still refer others to TXU Energy, but you will not be able to do so through the TXU Energy Refer-a-Friend program and you will not be eligible to receive referral credits.
