  Major league soccer draws a diverse and passionate audience and soccer fans in north Texas count on FC Dallas to bring all the excitement of world-class soccer to the DFW Metroplex.   Dallas Film Society

  Launched in 2006 by the Dallas Film Society, the Dallas International Film Festival brings the best of American and international film to Texas every April. TXU Energy is proud to support the film arts community through our sponsorship, and through its primary focus, the TXU Energy Student Film Contest. This contest offers high school and college student filmmakers around the state the opportunity to explore their visions of the future of energy through their films. At stake are technology grants, software and the opportunity to have their films screened at the Dallas International Film Festival.

  Houston Zoo

  The Houston Zoo easily ranks in the top 10 fun family attractions in Houston and it’s also ranked in the top 10 attended zoos in the nation. Their mission is to provide a fun, unique and inspirational experience fostering appreciation, knowledge, and care for the natural world. Both the Houston Zoo and TXU Energy share a strong focus on education and conservation – for animals and humans. Through our partnership with the zoo we’re able to promote energy saving solutions in a fun environment. Working together, we’ve helped many of the zoo’s 1.8 million visitors – and zoo fans all across Houston – with tips on how to ”Chill Out” at home, saving energy and money.

  TXU Energy Turkey Trot

  Since 2005, TXU Energy has been the title sponsor of the Houston Turkey Trot benefiting Sheltering Arms Senior Services, Houston’s oldest nonprofit agency for the older adult community. Sponsorship of the race, which is held near the Houston Galleria on Thanksgiving morning, reflects the strong partnership between the agency and TXU Energy. Partnering with our TXU Energy Aid^SM program since 2002, the agency has distributed millions in bill payment assistance to TXU Energy customers.
