Nancy Perry is chief people officer, human resources, for TXU Energy. Her core responsibilities include the day to day operations and strategic planning for staffing, organizational development and employee activities for the TXU Energy business. Perry is also responsible for the development of the employee culture and employee-related policies and standards to support the growth of the business.
Prior to her current role, Perry led the residential and business segments including sales, marketing and P&L responsibilities. She brought a wealth of experience in sales, operations and commodity products in deregulated retail energy businesses to TXU Energy’s retail group. She was responsible for crafting a long-term profitable growth strategy to support the company’s retail business objectives. Perry also directed the efforts of all sales and marketing teams to close profitable transactions that support the long-term goals for the retail business. In addition, she was responsible for building a competitive TXU Energy brand through products, service and sales focus.
Perry has more than 30 years of experience in the retail deregulated marketplace. She started with ENSERCH Corporation in 1980, which merged into TXU Corp. (now EFH) in 1996. Prior to her current role, Perry successfully led energy sales teams for small to large commercial and industrial customers for both electricity and national gas. Perry’s retail business knowledge is demonstrated through a long history of developing customer-centric energy solutions for customers.
Perry has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
