Brian Tulloh

Brian Tulloh is vice president of public affairs for TXU Energy. He is responsible for TXU Energy's public policy and strategy, community relations and communications functions. These functions actively support the company's commercial and governmental affairs objectives, working with policymakers, media, and the broader public, to best serve customers and communities across Texas.
Previously, Tulloh was vice president of corporate affairs for TXU Corp. (now Energy Future Holdings Corp.), where he focused on corporate growth initiatives and completion of the 2007 merger transaction. In addition, he was also responsible for developing retail business unit strategies for competitive power markets, along with policy and competitor analysis. Since joining the company in May 2002, he has led various strategic, analytic and organizational change efforts across the company's competitive businesses.
Tulloh has 25 years of experience in various aspects of the energy industry. Prior to joining TXU Corp., he was a leader in McKinsey and Company's energy practice, where he served a variety of U.S. and European clients on strategy and organization issues. Prior to McKinsey, Tulloh held a series of positions within the ARCO family of companies in Texas and California, including oil and gas operations, public policy and natural gas trading analysis.
Tulloh holds a bachelor's of science degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University, conferred with honors in 1985. He also holds a masters of business administration from Southern Methodist University. Tulloh is a registered professional engineer.
