Tom Leverton
Chief Operating OfficerTXU Energy
Tom Leverton is Chief Operating Officer for TXU Energy. In this role, he is responsible for TXU Energy's residential and business segments including, marketing, sales, operations and IT.
Prior to joining TXU Energy, Leverton served as Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer for FedEx Kinko's, with responsibility for aggressive expansion of new stores across the United States. In addition, he provided leadership to new store operations, distribution, strategy, print plants, hotel/convention sales and retail product sales areas.
Earlier in his career in 2001, Leverton worked at TXU Energy as Director of Strategy. He also brings product development engineering experience at Johnson and Johnson.
Leverton holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering/materials science from Duke and an MBA from Dartmouth University.
