Chief Financial Officer TXU Energy
Michael Carter is the Chief Financial Officer for TXU Energy, where he provides strong and broad financial leadership to the company from his more than 15 years of unregulated energy industry experience and prior work at KPMG.
Most recently, Carter was Vice President and Controller for Luminant. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Controller - Business Development for TXU Corp. playing a leading role in the merger.
Carter has provided a variety of accounting and financial expertise to the company over his three years with the TXU Corp. and the parent company of TXU Energy. He and brings strong and broad financial expertise from his prior work at KPMG and industry.
Carter received is B.S. in 1992 from Louisiana State University in Shreveport.
